Design the 1st Register to vote license plate!

During the 86th Legislative Session, we passed legislation for the creation of a specialty “Register to Vote” license plate. Now, we can officially remind others to register to vote while driving around on the weekend. This idea was brought to my attention by the people, and now we’re asking for your help to design the license plate!

How to Participate: Send your design to gina@ginaforaustin.com by September 2 at 5pm.

Instructions:

  • Design must be submitted in .psd format

  • Vector Graphic must be a fully-layered version, not flattened

  • Dimensions to design: 4.43" (h) x 4.25" (w)

  • Area of Interest (please see the DPS rendering below) cannot be encroached

Our panel of judges from the HD49 engagement team will be voting on the best design. We’ll be posting the winner on social media so be sure to follow me on Facebook at @GinaForAustin!

If you have any questions, please contact Chelsea O’Hara at chelsea.o’hara@house.texas.gov. Thank you for your interest to increase voter engagement in Texas!
